Touch week 2

I learnt that you have to plant the ball on the ground properly and step over it, and the role of a dummy half is to pick up and pass. My team communicated by shouting get back, i’ll take, on, roll off the line. Personally I haven’t tried doing a quickie. Which is when you plant and go quickly to score.

One highlight from the week was learning different commands from Ceazar and Desire.

E.g – yellow -Cut       green- Down the line       blue -Skip

Next week I want to contribute to my team by helping more of the non confident players.

Touch refection. (PE)

One new rule I learnt was that 5m defence has changed to 7m defence. A skill I find the easiest is passing the ball and the hardest skill is catching the ball. A moment I helped my team was being there if they needed someone to pass to, and one goal for me to improve on for the next week is passing both ways and stepping.

Volleyball reflection

In PE this term, one thing I improved on the most was hitting and setting. The one skill im very confident at is setting and receiving, but my skils that still needs working on is hitting and blocking one rule i learnt very well was team work and coms, well I play volleyball for the year ten girls so i already knew a little bit but think iI improved pretty good, I will focus on next is my blocking and receiving back to the setter on point not just receiving to anywhere.

English – Holidays

On the first week of the holidays I stayed home to do work on our farm, it wasn’t the best week it was really boring but i enjoyed doing farm work some of my family came up to help me and my dad we did a lot in that one week.

And then on the second week of the holidays I flew down  to my eldest sisters house in Te Kohurau (Kurow). The day after I got down there me and my sister drove to Queenstown for two days straight it was amazing we went snowboarding then after that, we went to get some food to eat and then we went shopping at a clothing shop im really missing it, it was the best time ever.
